Narberth RFC Lottery

In 2020 Narberth RFC launched our very own Lottery with a Weekly Jackpot being drawn in the first few weeks of the long gone, Covid lockdown. Former club Chairman, Dorian Phillips was the man behind the idea behind and with the help of Robin Probert and John Llewellyn the lottery was born. The Lottery’s first prize draw was on the 28 May 2020 and included 178 entrants, growing to date to over 550 members, what a great few years it’s been.

The club has shared over £150,000 in prizemoney to over 200 lucky winners who hail from the local and nearby communities of Narberth, including supporters, current players, ex-players, junior parents, committee members, as well as friends and family within the community.

Anyone can join the lottery, it is easy. Each number costs £2.50 a week. The minimum entry point is £20 which buys entry to the draw for 8 weeks. Weekly draws take place at the club house on a Friday evening with draw winners currently averaging £700 in prize money if their lucky numbers come up! As well as regular weekly draws, we also have two £1,000 jackpots every year celebrating Christmas and a draw at the end of May that celebrate the anniversary of the very first draw. Winners of the weekly jackpot are notified on the evening of the draw, and on social media via the club’s various handles giving many of our lucky winners the perfect start to their weekend.
